Don't Stress Over Finals -- FAU
It all comes down to the next seven days.
Study hard and you will do fine; don’t study and your GPA will suffer.
Don’t worry, though.
Despite what your friends, professors and classmates may be telling you, final exams will not make or break your life.
Here are my recommendations for handling finals week:
1. Sleep. Yes all nighters can be fun and exciting, but that is not what you want to be dealing with during finals week. Get plenty of sleep; wake up early if you have to, but make sure you get enough sleep.
2. Take breaks. I don’t care what you do. Take a walk. Buy a coffee. Go to the gym. Shoot some hoops. Your mind and body needs the distance from studying, mentally and physically.
3. Eat. I can’t overvalue this one. Make sure to take MEAL breaks. Eat healthy, and eat full portions.
4. Seek out a study buddy. They can make finals week a lot less stressful.
